Explorer Oil Change

Oil change at 142,200 - Pennzoil high mileage 10W/30.
The oil drain plug is facing downwards on the Explorer (1996 4.0 liter ).  FRAM PH8A Oil Filter and FM 105 - Cap wrench compatible with this filter.  The space around the oil filter is too little to use a regular filter wrench.

I got the Motorcraft FL-1A but this needs a 36 flute Cap wrench, couldn't find it in a store.  Walmart has the filter and wrench under $4.  So ended up going with the FRAM because I used the wrench on the FL-1A and crushed the housing at two spots and did not want to risk a breakage for saving $4.

Spark Plugs - NGK

Changed the stock plugs with NGK 3403s.  It was a great experience.  Initially I was not able to pull the boot off :)
Then googled and learnt that you need to twist in both directions and then pull.  I was able to get all the 6.  One of them came with the shank!
